Of course, you want to know my qualifications and a little bit about my life. So, here we go…
I am a retired Pastor, after nearly 30 years of ministry. You’ll see my education credentials below. I began life in Texas and have lived in several states until landing in Missouri back in 1982 where I’ve been ever since (although I still claim Texas as home!) During those years in the Pastorate, I counselled individuals and couples, both church members and non-members, gaining experience from their lives and from Biblical teachings.
In addition to my years of practical Pastoral counseling, I am a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association, not a state licensed counselor. It is through my studies with the N.C.C.A. that I began to utilize temperament analysis in my work.
Having recently gained my Board Certification as an Advanced Life Coach I also practice Coaching in order to broaden my outreach to my community. This has given me a new focus on ways to be of help to those who reach out with their needs.
My education:
Wayland Baptist College, Plainview, TX. Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, 1976.
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Master of Religious Education, 1981.
Licensed and Ordained Minister, 1982
Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. National Christian Counselors Association, Doctorate in Christian Counseling, 2005.
Board Certified Professional Life Coach, The Board of Christian Life Coaches, A.A.C.C.

Mediation training with American Association of Christian Counselors as well as Lacefield and Associates, Dallas, TX.
There’s certainly more about me to tell. I’ll give you more when we meet!
